Facts:- Average cost of a 4 year degree is $100,000
- Tuition rises an average of 7% per year
- 75% of Colleges are not Division I schools
- Prospects only have a 1 in 15 chance of making a collegiate team
- Division I schools have 12 fully funded scholarships per school and average 18-20 players per team. Divided equally this averages out to only 60% per player
- Very few players receive a "Full Ride" athletic scholarship
- Prospects should focus on academics to enhance their value to college coaches
- Academic scholarships can be used to supplement athletic scholarships
- Division II schools have 7.2 fully funded scholarships
- Division III schools only offer academic scholarships
- NJCAA offers 24 scholarships per year
- Only 10% of all high school graduates in all sports receive an athletic scholarship
